NBC has won a bidding war with ABC over a new JJ Abrams pilot called Odd Jobs, starring Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson. Yep, Locke and Ben are going to reunite. No word on when it will premiere, if ever (but I imagine the cost of bidding will demand the pilot gets aired regardless of quality).
The speculation is it's a show O'Quinn first came up with last year about two suburban hitmen. It's a ... I guess it's going to be a "buddy hitman" 1-hour dramedy.
Abrams has recruited two Alias writers, Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec, to the show. Appelbaum and Nemec wrote Mission Impossible 4. (I preferred their work on Alias).
I've got $10 the pilot involves a mid-air airplane scene of some kind.
