Offical FA Guess Thread

Come one, come all and register your prediction for the major Cardinals' free agent signees. This isn't for guessing who you'd WANT the Cards to sign, but who they WILL sign.

I'm guessing we'll bag:

1. A. Plummer, CB
2. B. Berry, DE

And that's it as far as major signings, and, strangely, I'm okay with it. Both players upgrade our defense--although not as much as Winefield and Kearse would...

Also, some are saying we get the Vilma (sp?) OL guy?

I also hope we get Kerse. He won't get his 20 million. If the Cardinals play it smart, Kerse might be had for a 5 or 10 million signing bonus. Well worth it in my opinion.

There's no way Kearse settles for less than $10 million signing bonus unless it's a hometown discount at Tennesee. We'll get a CB and a DLineman. Hopefully Robaire Smith and Antoine Winfield but I doubt Winfield comes here unless we outbid everybody for him. So I'll say Fernando Bryant and Robaire Smith.

I blew the Plummer pick, but got Berry. I LOVE this signing. Outside of Kearse, Berry was the best pass-rushing FA on the market.

But, most all of the CBs I've liked are snatched up. Maybe Mcklin is our best chance right now (the Eagles CBs, Taylor and Vincent might be too long in the tooth to garner realistic offers from the Cards).
