Cheesebeef sucks for pointing out the cultural insignificance of Phoenix? Why is that his fault? Im going to see it this weekend, Cheese. Right here in good ole culturally relevant NYC.

So you're saying Indian casinos, Applebee's, and endless track housing and strip malls isn't cultured? Phoenix is home, but man it's really becoming an extension of the Inland Empire.

And I will rent this movie when it comes out from my local strip mall Blockbuster as that's how us Arizonans roll.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaah! this thread is classic!

sorry that this movie hasn't blown in with the tumbleweed yet desert dwellers - give it a month and it'll be playing at Camelview 5 for three days and out. Just keep checking on it - you've got to see it to believe it!

Considering the age of the city, Phoenix has plenty of culture. It's just not prevelant to the point where you can sit back and have it spoon fed to you.

This thread made me think of a story my cousin told me after going on a cross country trip with his dad. Apparently most of the country thinks that we still have dirt streets and stage coaches. Of course he just fed them a bunch of bs to confirm it.

FTFY

It's sort of like the locals who think the New Times is an "alternative" newspaper. Hoo boy! That's a laugher.
