I don't know what else Jaxon Shipley could have done to make the team. Very surprised about Golden over him, and that we only have 3 CB at the moment.

How can anyone be surprised about Kerwin Williams? We have Chris Johnson Andre Ellington and David Johnson all playing running back we don't need a fourth one and you have Stephan Taylor to boot who will probably fill the fullback roll or what little one we have. I like Kerwin Williams too but just no room on the roster for him.. Sometimes you just lose the numbers game
Exactly. I thought he was good enough to make it, same with Quartey, but you can only keep 53 and they have to have a role. 5th RB or 5th safety aren't feasible at this time with injuries/suspensions.

Nix's knees are absolutely shot.
Mays' has the IQ of a damn peanut. Also he is the worst person I have ever seen in coverage, no exaggeration.
Stanley Jean-Baptiste isn't good at all.
Weatherford has been bad after the Giants' SB in 2011.

overseas, did you miss Nick Novack? Or miss Cat Man's two missed xtra points?
I saw Novak but I am throwing out names that haven't been mentioned on this thread yet and figured the P position is more of a question mark at this point.

Just throwing out the more familiar names. In the case of SJB, he has the physical attributes, maybe a change of scenery would help as he is only a 2nd year guy so maybe NO gave up on him too soon? Mays is a guy you look at and with his size & speed seems like a good fit to convert to an ILB and put him in the box, but I agree with you DVontel, you need more than physical skills to play in the NFL.

Montee Ball cut by the Broncos.
That's surprising even though it should always be buyer beware when it comes to drafting RB's out of Wisconsin. It will be interesting to see how Gordon, who I did not want the Cards to take even if he was there, does because Wisky's system seems to make every RB look great.

I can take the hits...but other than Kerwynn, what other pre-season All-Star of mine is dropping like a fly? Just wondering.

2 of my favorite 53s are gone thus far: K. Williams and J. Thomas (if reports are accurate).
Mitch - deepest apologies for my premature post.. I clearly should have waited until after your Jones-Quartey meltdown!
