It's inevitable that you'll be realeased within the next week, so I just want to say thank you for your hard work and production and wish you good luck in the future. I know you weren't able to move mountains the way some inexplicably expected you too, but I really appreciate what you did for the club.

I didn't know you read this board. If I did I might have complained more at certain times, less at other times.

yea right he reads this board....and I work out at the gym with him....and the picture in Shane H's avatar is my actual wife....and the Raiders had a good draft....

Edge did his job as a RB and bringing some experience and leadership to the team. Wonder who has first dibs on his locker with the xbox?

I have no problem with Edge's overall production but his salary and priorities weren't to my liking at all. The guy has always seemed to be more about money and stat's than what's best for the team. Even now, at the end of his career he's very adamant about getting more carries rather than getting a nice salary and being part of a winner(again).

Thank you Mr. James for all of your time as a Cardinal. I do not know what you felt last year, but I know that when I was in a similiar place in my life I gave my job very little attention.

No kidding, he should be more like Warner and go visit with teams who won 6 games last year to prove he wants to be a part of a winner.:mulli:

Regardless of what people say he really was running in quicksand a lot of the time. Just to get around four yards a carry with that line and in quicksand was all anyone could ask.

My entire family wishes to express to you a grateful "Thank you Mr. James". You more than carried your share of the load, and your locker room presence and leadership helped pave the way for us to make the transition from the toilet bowl to the Super Bowl. Our family wishes you the very best possible in the future. I hope your road is paved with all things good.

Thanks for some happy memories, Edge. Every once in a while I'll look at my little Edge action figure and think of you. Course I'd rather look at my big white Lamborghini and think of you...;)

Thanks Edge! You have been solid! Good luck in life. You've had a lot of downs lately. I hope you get your ups.

James has twice in his career wanted to leave winning teams in favor of more money or personal gain. I'm not sure how that relates to Warner or why you brought him up. If James had bought into what Whis was doing and asking from him, rather than constantly complaiing about not getting enough touches or how the system was being run I think he could have finished his career as a Cardinal and on a lot better terms.

James ran for more than 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons with the Cardinals, becoming the first Card to achieve such a feat since the franchise moved to Arizona.
Edge helped to bring respectability to the Arizona Cardinals. Regardless of his motives in coming to the desert, I appreciate his contribution in getting the team turned around!
