Westerville North is the first of four central Ohio high school boys basketball teams to play for a state championship, facing Massillon Perry on Friday night for the Division II title.

North: Guards Tyson Perkins (5-8, so.), Micah Young (6-3, sr.), Tai Perkins (6-1, sr.) and Tony Cornett (6-3, so.); wing Nolan Fedak (6-5, sr.)
Massillon Perry: Guards Darnell McLeod (6-1, sr.) and Drake Jacobsen (6-1, sr.), forwards Luke Wolf (6-6, sr.) and Nico Martelli (6-6, jr.); center Preston Dazey (6-4, jr.)

North (24-2) and Perry (14-13) enter as polar opposites in terms of their regular seasons. North is on a 23-game winning streak – the Warriors haven't lost since Dec. 7 – while Perry has won five in a row in the tournament after losing 13 of 18.
North, seeking its second state championship and first since 1994, averages 77.1 points per game and has won its five tournament contests by an average of 39.6 points, the largest average margin of victory of all 14 state finalists.
Perry, which is at state for the first time since 1991, averages 56.1 points and has won five tournament games by an average of 5.6 points, the least of the finalists.
Senior guards Tai Perkins (15.2 points, 3.8 assists, 3.2 rebounds) and Micah Young (14.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists) lead North.
Senior guard/forward Luke Wolf (17.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.9 steals) senior guard Drake Jacobsen (10.8 points) lead Perry.
