What the hell is going on this season? I have held off on saying anything about UA basketball because of the lack of an ASU team. What seems to be the problem? The little bit I have seen it seems like there is not much of a front court.

Not a slam but a question.

Shooting, rebounding, coaching, scholarships being taken by guys who belong at Northern Arizona and not Arizona, and last but not least team chemistry. Hopefully the last one will be fixed after dismissing the Tucson Town Idiot. Unfortuantely this year looks very similar to 2003-2004 in which we'll see an early tourney exit but we still have unreal talent coming in so we'll be back soon.

But in the meantime, I suggest taking Stanford at +11 tonight.

The biggest reason for the down year is lack of outside shooting and team chemistry. It's just one of those years where we're down but we'll still make the tourney, maybe exit in round 2 or 3 and then regroup and reload for next year.

Bad shot selection.

When your best player takes an outside jumper on a fast break with nobody trailing, then that's a bad shot. It's gotten better, but I remember where we would make horrible decisions all the time.

I wouldn't call squeaking out a couple wins against two mediocre teams starting anything.

The next stretch of four straight road games will make-or-break UofA's season. .

Haven't seen much of AZ this year, but from what I gather, it seems to be erratic guard play. This was supposed to be a strength going into the season, no?

Mustafa Shakur is slowly starting to come out of his shell and become a big play maker for the team

Rebounding and shooting.

Those will be the reasons why we lose games. We are a horrible shooting team and we can not rebound. We loe just about every game in the rebounding margin.

The good thing is Mustafa is coming on to help out Marcus and Hassan. Now we just need Fox/Walters/Tangara to start hitting the boards and we will be ok.
