The NBA announced the Oklahoma City Thunder's Round 1 schedule on Wednesday. They await their opponent from the play-in tournament between the Memphis Grizzlies, Sacramento Kings and Dallas Mavericks.
The Thunder will find out their first-round opponent on Friday night. The Grizzlies will host the Kings-Mavericks winner. It'll be the second straight year they captured the first seed and waited a week until they found out their opponent.
The full seven-game series schedule is below:
- Game 1: TBA at Oklahoma City on Sunday, Apr. 20 at 12 p.m. CT (ABC)
- Game 2: TBA at Oklahoma City on Tuesday, Apr. 22 at 6:30 p.m. CT (TNT)
- Game 3: Oklahoma City at TBA on Thursday, Apr. 24 at TBD (TNT)
- Game 4: Oklahoma City at TBA on Saturday, Apr. 26 at 2:30 p.m. CT (TNT)
- Game 5: TBA at Oklahoma City on Monday, Apr. 28
- Game 6: Oklahoma City at TBA on Thursday, May 1
- Game 7: TBA at Oklahoma City on Saturday, May 3
Regardless of who advances, the Thunder should enter their Round 1 series as a heavy favorite. After all, they're a title contender who's fresh off a historic 68-14 campaign.
