Pretty simple reason for that as well. 53 man roster plus 8 PS players compared to the NBA which is what 12-13.

Also note that all of these amounts do not equal what each player counts towards the cap. It is just the total amount spent on players in a given year. Also note that incentives and bonuses are already included even though the season isnt over yet.

4 Travis LaBoy $6,503,960

7 Edgerrin James $5,250,840

9 Chike Okeafor $4,504,440

I believe the above guys are worse.

It's hard to argue with your list, but I picked Green because for $2M dollars, he should at least take the time and effort to occasionally try and look back for the ball.

Oh, and spending a little of that coin on some acting lessons wouldn't hurt either. The "Help! I've fallen and I can't get up!" routine might work for the 80 year old medic-alert lady, but with him I'm just not buying it.

Laboys includes all of his signing bonus. 1st year players with new contracts and new signing bonuses will be highly skewed and to high on that list becuase of that fact.

He already got his big pay day. That amount doesnt included the bonus he got when he re-upped a few years back.

Laboy better start getting some sacks. Is he auditioning for "The Invisible Man?"

Not direct at you becuase I am not sure what you think of Dockett.

Dockett dissapears and he must be injured or its something else. Laboy is actually injured and was on the injury report for 4 weeks straight and he doesnt get the benefit of the doubt like Dockett does. Interesting

I like it when he gets burnt and starts flailing his arms around like a child, pretty much stomping his feet like a child who just got found in hide and go seek.

Yeah..that and they don't have to play 290 something games a year. :D

Joe dont NFL stadiums also hold 5 to 6 times the amount of fans on average too though?

Plus the NFL make more money than all of the other professional sports leagues combined.

That gets completey taken away though when you compare 16 games to 82 games of the NBA or over a 100 games in the MLB. Attendance totals are much higher overall for the MLB and NBA.

Plus the NFL make more money than all of the other professional sports leagues combined.

In the US that is without a doubt true. But outside of the US MLB and especially NBA makes way more money then the NFL. NFL still makes more money though. The percentage that NFL pays its players is at around 60% of total revenue, that is similar to that of MLB and NBA.

He earned a bonus at the end of last season that counted towards this year if memory serves me. He was making 4 million per year on his original contract before incentives.
