Ole Miss baseball is squeezing its home series against Florida into just two days.

The No. 15 Rebels (19-5, 4-2 SEC) will play a doubleheader against the Gators (18-9, 0-6) on Friday, the team announced. The Saturday game is moving to Friday. The change was made because of a weekend weather forecast in Oxford.

The original plan was to play one game on Thursday, one on Friday and one on Saturday. The first game Friday will start at 3 p.m. and air on SEC Network+. The second game will start approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. It will air on the same channel.

The Rebels have found a groove of late. Ole Miss has won four games in a row and is fresh off a road sweep at Missouri. The Gators are searching for their first conference win. Florida was swept at No. 1 Tennessee and at home against No. 3 Georgia to start SEC play.
