I don't know if this guy had any credible sources to speak of, but he did speak with some authority when it came to the Texans and their draft plans. He said the reports that the Texans were considering Suggs were ludicrous and that they were in attendance at the workout and showing interest only to entice a trade (quite possibly with the Cardinals). He mentioned that Charley Casserly (Houston Texans General Manager) has given trade down proposals to 3 teams (didn't mention who they were) but that Casserly was asking for way too much. He fully expects the Texans to stay at #3 and take Miami's Andre Johnson and he mentioned that the talk of Cincy taking Charlie Rogers and of the Texans trading up to the #1 spot to take Rogers were ploys by the Bengals to try and entice a trade with Detroit, hoping Detroit who is gaga over Rogers will panic. He mentioned that the Bengals would absolutely not take Terrence Newman with the first pick and that Carson Palmer was still the choice although things could change if Bryon Leftwich (who Marvin Lewis loves) checks out physically and has a great workout tommorrow.
