Yes, he had a bad outing today. But previous 25 innings - one earned run. McCarthy is a solid back of rotation starter

It depends, if you can get a better offer for Ian Kennedy I would take it.

He was just starting to turn it around to. Maybe he would be better in the pen and give Skaggs a chance.

If ARZ can even get a decent deal for Kennedy they should take it. Guy had a fluke 2011 season which he will never repeat. ARZ dodged a bullet by him not agreeing to a big contract extension. Bet ARZ wishes they hadn't dealt Scherzer, he is having a Cy Young type of season. Hudson or McCarthy eventually will be replaced by Skaggs. I don't think Hudson will be full strength this year anyways so he would be my guess to be replaced.
Rotation should be:
Corbin
Cahill
Miley
McCarthy
Hudson but eventually Skaggs
AZ Native

I think Hudson will find his way into the starting 5 and stay there. IMHO
Well, that's interesting.. to say the least.. Have you forgotten how Hudson pitches? I mean, I know it's been a while but.. If anyone from that list is moving to make room for Skaggs, it's McCarthy.

I wouldn't be so sure. McCarthy starting to find his groove. I'm chalking the Texas game up to facing a team that's seen him 12 or so times, and having to start a day after scheduled due to rain. I believe Miley needs to step it up as he has been consistently bad giving up too many HR's and hitters are around .290 with RISP.
