When he isn't trying to guide Notre Dame men's basketball to its first NCAA Tournament in three years, Mike Brey spends a lot of time fielding calls from his counterparts around the country. Lately, those conversations have taken on a frantic tone as the so-called one-time transfer exemption moves closer to becoming a reality in the sport.
