Pathetic. I can't believe they gave up on Skaggs and are paying Arroyo $23.5 million. :bang:

I was not crazy about the Arroyo signing, but did not go ballistic because of it. I was upset that we gave up on Skaggs as I really liked him. I just cannot believe how bad this is turning out.

We are incapable of scorings runs... Yes, our pitching is all world horrific, however, our offense is right there with them...

Ken Kendricks, the D-backs Managing General Partner, has done some flaky things in the past. And this whole pathetic situation has occurred on his watch.

Yes, he represents his co-investors, and their primary motivation is money, but spectator sports is, in a way, in the public domain. Kendricks has an obligation to keep his staff from embarrassing themselves and the community.

He hasn't done a very good job of it! But you can't fire the owner.

How bad is it?

It is so bad that . . .

I took a look at National League ERA "leaders". Three D-backs are listed at this time.

#48 - Miley ..........4.35 ERA
#59 - McCarthy .....7.11 ERA
#60 - Cahill ..........7.48 ERA

Here are the rest who have started for the D'backs this season.

........ Collmenter ...4.50 ERA
........ Delgado........6.23 ERA
........ Arroyo..........9.95 ERA
........ Bolsinger.....10.29 ERA

That is pathetic!

If his motivation is making money he's failing miserably. They have a $100 million payroll and attendance is at an all time low.

How about Horrific?

Waste.

A great young team with a loaded farm system, somehow two years later is a terrible old team with a pillaged farm system. Hard to believe.
