I am a big fan of poker and have an account on bodog which I don't put money into, but have won 59 bucks from free-roll tournaments.

Now my question is one that my brother asked me after watching me play: is it possible to hack or distort the program in order to find out what cards others are dealt and/or what cards are to come?

Some of these players seem like they know what cards are going to be flopped and it isn't a matter of them reading people well, most of the players aren't even good. However, I can expect players to know what their percentages are, but to call out the card, the suit, and when they will get it leads me to believe that something is wrong.

Anyone know the answer to my question?

I play a decent amount on Full Tilt and sometimes it seems like that, I mean it could be possible.

Like right now. I was in a free-roll Tournament (meaning that you put down no cash, but can win money from the $1,000 pot) and I get pocket kings. So after being raised, I go all-in. Without taking more than a second to think, the other guy calls. He has pocket 10's and says in the chat, "don't worry table. I will get quad tens. Just watch." And the flop comes 5 5 10. Turn comes, 7 and the river 10!!! I nearly tore my room inside out. It was unbelievable!!

If I could see the cards, I wouldn't go blabbing about it during chat. Thats a gold mine you don't want uncovered.

I play at UltimateBet.com

If you sign up there, use me as a reference. My name is bratwurst there as well.

As far as making money... play at your own risk. don't gamble money you can't afford to lose... etc etc

Also, if you want to play for money somewhere, you can go through pokersourceonline.com and get some rewards for your play. sign up for a site through them doing a promotion. Use me as a referral there as well.

I wrote all about that website on page 14 of this thread:
http://www.arizonasportsfans.com/vb/showthread.php?t=28439&page=14

I'm 1000 points away from being able to get another set of nevada jack chips on poker source, so a referral there would put me over the top.

I used to play at PSO as well. I have done all of their promos and I havent been able to recuit any others.

I have 1k points just sitting in my account that I havent used. You should be able to give them to other members, or use them to enter freerolls or something.

Don't believe that people can see what cards will come out. I guess is that the guy pulled a rabbit out of his hat. I have tried just about every poker site on the net and I prefer the Prima network the best, although I currently have money at bodog.

Are there any online poker places where you don't play for money? I know Yahoo has one but their graphics blow.

I'd just like to play (gasp!) for the fun of it . . .

just about any online site will have "play chips" thats free to use, but its hard to find a game that isn't full of crazy bets and calls because there's nothing real to lose.

The one exception, is freeroll tournaments. Once you get past the initial run of all in bets by people who aren't really playing (usually the first 5 to 10 minutes of play) things will get fairly serious.
