PRETORIA, South Africa (AP) -- Oscar Pistorius was sentenced Tuesday to five years in prison for killing girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp by a South African judge who cited the ''gross negligence'' he showed when he shot her multiple times through a toilet cubicle door in his home.

Total joke. Ridiculous. Argues with his girlfriend and later shoots her three times through a locked bathroom door - claiming he thought it was an intruder. Even if it was an intruder - shooting three times through a closed and locked door is reckless and idiotic. He should be going away for a lot longer than the ten months he is expected to serve.
