This is the earliest regular season game mid week we've had since the stadium went in. Game starts at 5:25, warning signs said the parking lot opens at 1:30 I think.
I take my girlfriend to work everyday, she works on Freedom Circle right off Great America Parkway which is like 2 blocks from Levi's Stadium. Unfortunately there is no back way in to Freedom Circle so I'm going to have to head out early and see how long it takes me. I actually take Bowers which becomes Great America as it crosses over 101 freeway. I turn right just before it becomes Great America. The preseason game I left early and had no problem at all, we'll see tonight, her boss took the day off to avoid it, I'm hoping it's not too bad.
We can't go home our normal way they block so many streets off that way backs up.
I'm still amazed they put a stadium there. Yes there are freeways and expressways nearby but the infrastructure for a stadium just isn't there, it's already a high traffic area and on game days we just avoid it like the plague. Can't tonight though.
I guess I'm cheering for SF tonight since I would prefer Seattle get another loss since I think they're the better team of the 2.
