Head Coach and GM gonzo.
Their third-highest cap charge is the dead money for JC Jackson. Telasco has a reputation as a guy who listens to his head coach's needs and goes and gets players. I wonder if they just want more of a visionary for that role.Kinda surprised about Telesco tbh. I think they have a pretty decent roster.
Also not beyond the realm of possibility they just bring Bill Belicheck in to run everything next year.
They need to do something for sure. Have to think Ben Johnson is near the top of the list for HC.Their third-highest cap charge is the dead money for JC Jackson. He’s Steve Keim with a little better percentage of drafting 1st round picks.Kinda surprised about Telesco tbh. I think they have a pretty decent roster.
Kind of parallels the Keim/KK story from the last couple of seasons. Owner gets convinced by GM "But we won 10 games". Then the next season the team is a complete disappointment, then they lose their franchise QB to injury, GM and Coach get fired. So crazy it didn't happen last year to get Sean Payton.

He why have been fired two years ago. This guys has made some of the dumbest in game management decisions I’ve seen. He’s one of the biggest analytics idiots in the game.Should have been fired in the locker room @ half time yesterday
Their mistake was going to LA in the first place if you ask me. What made them think they wouldn't be about 7th in the sports pecking order perhaps just only above the Galaxy in terms of fandom? They could have had their run of a handful of cities desperate for NFL football.Dean Spanos of Chargers doesn't have a stadium and pays $1 as rent to Kroenke to play at SoFi stadium. Fan base is small. Not a very stable ownership situation similar to Bids here. But they have a good QB. Many offensive coaches will covet the job I assume.

Brandon Staley and Jonathan Gannon have been best friends since they were 10 years old. They were each in the other's wedding and Gannon is godfather to Staley's youngest son.

The Eagles defensive coordinator and Chargers head coach forged a friendship as 10-year-olds on the basketball court. It’s still going strong today.www.phillymag.com
While I agree, owners never seem to follow this unfortunately.Belichick is 71 yrs old and too old school for the Chargers. Hiring Jim Harbaugh would make the most sense especially with a good qb like Herbert to coach. But will owner Spanos spend the money to get him?
Keenan Allen sure would look nice in Red and White, as a 2-3 year WR... Especially if the Cards can draft MHJ or another 1st round WR.wow
Chargers are $43mm over the cap next year.
if you are the Chargers -- aside from Herbert, who are your untouchable players?
are there any?
