Forget mentoring Beanie, upgrade Wright. Okay so that was simply wrong on my part. LJ has too much baggage to consider.

I believe Beanie is on the verge of a breakout game. He really is the best RB I have seen in a Cards uniform.

No, thanks. This guy has serious issues. No way Coach even considers this.

I would start DeAngelo over Beanie, but that is just me. I started Beanie here and there for a few teams I have had and it was not worth it.

Kansas City is such a mess.

1. Larry Johnson isn’t the 1st player to call out Haley, he is like the 4th or 5th.
2. Trade their best offensive weapon for a 2010 2nd rounder.
3. Traded for Cassell who is currently ranked 25th in the NFL, and gave him a 6 year 63 mill deal, the deal includes $28 million guaranteed and $40.5 million in the first three seasons.
4. Traded for Vrabel who is average.
5. Got cute in the draft by drafting the currently horrid Tyson Jackson especially when compared to the guy they passed on Aaron Curry a LB they could really be using right now.
6. Despite getting their QB to run their offense, firing the OC a week before the season started so the great almighty O genius Haley could call the plays, who would think their O is actually far worse then last year. They are scoring 3 fewer points then last year and getting 50 fewer yards then last year.
7. Despite getting his DC Pendy, drafted a 3rd over DL, getting Vrabel, their D is only marginally better then last year and still in the bottom 4.

Darkhorse candidate: Chicago.

I think more realistically, he'll sit by the phone until someone gets hurt. He's made a career out of being a jackass and hasn't been the most reliable runner in recent years. That's not a very attractive combination.

Well then it sounds like he goes to the Patriots and they get some decent production out of him for the next 2-3 years. They are not afraid of players pasts when they they sign them.

I say LJ to the Iggles or deadskins

Redskins are dumb but they are not dumb enough to bring in LJ and make Portis an even bigger of a distraction then he already is.

The Eagles wont becuase they already ahve 2 RB's they like and they are not focused on running the ball in the first place.

I guess Vermiel was right when he said that LJ needs to take his diaper off. Apparently it is not only still on his body, but has been soiled many times.

He's done.

Yeah, I just don't see them signing him this year. Maybe in the offseason to put some distance between them and his asshattery.

JMHO.

Dillon was still playing pretty well, and wasn't as much of a PR problem as LJ.

Neither Moss nor Dillon were midseason pickups, either.

I just don't think they'd see a reason to sign him right now. They have two capable backs and Faulk as the third-down/pass-catching back. Morris should come back at some point, too.

I really think the only way he gets signed this season is if a FT back is seriously injured.

JMHO

Wasn't it LJ that Rolle almost killed by grabbing his facemask back in 06? I remember everyone in the stadium kept chanting his name, hoping he wasn't paralyzed as he lay on the ground.

I think we all thought he was a classy guy back then. Man, his stock fell hard and fast since then.

i haven't heard anything about this release. But us getting LJ would make no sense, I don't even consider it an option.

I don't think so. Just because you hope a guy isn't hurt doesn't mean you think he's classy.

Exactly...I think he's been considered a jerk since college. People used to tolerate it when he could play, but now that he's been used and abused like a rented mule, (kudos to Herm Edwards) he'll join all the other former greats on the RB scrap heap. Good luck on dealing with the real world Larry, clearly you are in way over your head.
