Why in the hell do you need a screen that big if you are at the freaking game?

My thought exactly - you are AT the game... You could have stayed home or outside the stadium if you wanted to watch on TV. Unless the view from the seats in the upper deck suck that bad. What a tool JJ is!

for a team that is so irrelevant and has the perception of one that has never ever won a playoff game......there is a lot of cowboys talk going on here.

BTW the board is within league specifications and does not have to be moved. no fines to come lol. I myself can't wait to see it in person and will take bets from the fans around me on every punt. makes for more excitement. jones always gets it right in that regard.

Such hatred and jealousy in this thread!

Mad because phx stadium ain't the jewel of the NFL anymore.

Some here say why have jumbotron if at the game?

Good question. So turn off all the tiny trons at phx stadium. Don't need em.

Some negligently said no thought went into design and engineering?

The screen was placed at the exact specified height per NFL guidelines. Mr Jones has no intention to raise it as he shouldn't. It meets code.

Lastly, as long as they keep that roof open, so GOD can keep watch over HIS favorite football team, then all is good in the blessed state of Texas.

They were discussing the stadium and video screens on the radio yesterday. Supposedly they are able to show a live feed on the screens; theoretically they could show the plays on the screen as they are occurring.

1. Can't see the NFL allowing that!
2. Who pays for a ticket to an NFL game to watch it on a TV?

Stupid!

I don't see why there is all the hating on the screen. I can't remember how many times I've been to a game where I couldn't see the play on the field(especially sitting in the upper deck)...and I still couldn't get a good look on the replay to see a spot or a questionable call. so your left sitting there scratching your head for a brief moment wishing you were at home to see what is going on? Now you have the best HD board in the world and you are going to whine about it? doesn't make any sense to me. I wish there was one at the glendale stadium last year...at least i would have seen the break in romo's pinky in OT. wouldn't you guys have liked to see that on HD on the replay? keep it in perspective.

Long time reader 1st post. I have a life and thus don't have the time or ADD required to sit and collect 30,000 posts on any board like so many often do.
ok? well you picked a great way to break the ice then.

I'm sorry for screwin up the process.

I understood it as register first, start posting next.

It's summer time out there in their desert. They don't need any ice broken. They hold their ice more precious than gold!

Obviously clueless. The tickets were givin to him. Not funny to make fun of a persons bad situation. :mulli:

What team are they going to be watching? ;)
well no team has never made it to the SB in their home stadium. Dallas did win the SB though their first year they opened Texas Stadium. I would be happy if history repeats itself.

Spoken like a true Cowpukes fan that has no clue as to reality.

Yeah, you're right. Evidently the God that loves your Cowpukes does not favor me. :sarcasm:
Which frankly, I'm okay with.

not quite sure how any Christian can be a Cowboys fan when it is a well known fact that Jerry Jones is a direct descendant of satan
