it's crazy to think how in today's world with all the advancements in medicine and the best doctors this stuff could still happen. I guess it's all due to unnecessary prescriptions of antibiotics and their misuse that has made these bacteria super resistant

This is another reason not to use antibiotics unless you truly need them. If we ever see another plague, it will be antibiotic-resistant viruses.

Truly sad for him.

My wife lost her foot to recurring, persistent infections including MRSA, Staph, and even a little Gangrene at some point...
