OT - Dodgers, Braves, Marlins do 13-player deal

The first-place Los Angeles Dodgers have bolstered their pitching staff, acquiring Mat Latos from the Miami Marlins and Alex Wood, Jim Johnson and Luis Avilan from the Atlanta Braves in a 13-player deal.

Basically the Dodgers BOUGHT all these players by taking on all the contracts the Braves and Marlins didn't want.

The Marlins only saved money. They got nothing in return. MLB should pull the franchise from Loria

I don't know what's more sickening, big market teams buying players or small market teams that sell their talent and are content to be mediocre as long as they make a tidy profit.

As long as we keep watching and buying tickets nothing will change.

I read the Braves managed to throw arroyo in the deal to la.. which means they got touki for virtually nothing at the end of the day.

Also, sounds like Morse was already designated for assignment.
