This list is horrible, just disgraceful.

Willie Lanier is way, way too low.

If Lawerence Taylor makes the list, how in the heck does Derrick Thomas not make the list.

Harry Carson being on this list is a joke, he should not be in the Hall of Fame either. He was about as good as Jeremiah Trotter was.

How in the hell does Bobby Bell not make this list ? HOW ?!!?!

Not sure Hendricks or Ham would have the same careers if they played today.
Hendricks weight was listed as 220 lbs at 6'-7"
Ham was 225 and 6'-1"
Kind of small for LBs by todays standards especially Hendricks.

Where is Derrick Thomas on that list? Thomas should be placed ahead of Urlacher on that list.

The thing about all these rankings (fun to debate no doubt) they are a little vague.

There are some good linebackers on this list. But, when you talk about all around linebackers that can do it all ?

It really comes down to guys like Willie Lanier, Ray Lewis, Brian Urlacher, and one of my personal favorites Derrick Brooks. Maybe to a lesser extent Dick Butkus who was pretty good in coverage for his size, and time he played.

But, the linebackers I listed were dangerous all over the field. Lawrence Taylor was a phenom, but he was more of a defensive end, and personally I think Derrick Thomas was a better pass rusher than Taylor. Why? Derrick Thomas' 1st step, and his quickness was ridiculous, just unstoppable.

Butkus will always be my favorite LB. No other LB could strike fear in the opponent like he did. He dominated the run game from sideline to sideline and made vicious hits.

Maybe I'm just old school, but that's the way I see it.
