Kessler's a moxy guy but I root for him since he's from my home town. Don't think he's got enough physical talent but he generally takes care of the ball and is efficient.

This move by the Jaguars is odd to me though. I mean, if you're going to fire your OC doesn't that suggest that the playcalling, etc. was a problem and that maybe your QB is salvageable? Or vice versa. If you're going to bench your QB, wouldn't you want to see how your OC does when the QB is removed from the equation?

How's Philly doing this year?

The NFL is about as random as random gets. That's why you don't overreact

The Jags are dysfunctional top to bottom. Tom Coughlin just a cranky old man who has disappeared as the Czar of the Jags. Doug Moreau is not past his prime since he never had a prime. Major overhaul before the Jags move to London. Anyone want Fournette and/or Ramsey? I am sure there will be plenty of suitors but they are destructive forces on that roster.

Way too simplistic to make Bortles the sole reason this team sucks.

Imagine a trade where Lions and Jags get together and swap Stafford for Fournette and / or Ramsey. 3 players in dire need of a relocation.

Marrone & Hackett had been together since their days together in Syracuse. They were actually a very good tandem & Syracuse struggled mightily when Marrone took him to Buffalo at the time. I know how much Marrone likes Hackett, so I'm sure the Jags forced his hand. I can't imagine that Marrone will be there much longer. Marrone is a decent HC, but needs a solid QB to be completely successful. Bortles isn't that guy. Hackett actually is a decent play caller, but couldn't overcome just a massive amount of injuries on the offensive side of the ball. Combine that with Bortles inconsistencies & that offense was doomed. I see Marrone/Hackett together again with the Jets next year. Marrone will have the Jets in the playoffs in year 1.

If the #Jaguars release Blake Bortles prior to June 1st they’ll take on a $16.5M dead cap hit for 2019, the largest single hit in history (though up to $6.5M of it can be offset should he sign elsewhere).

B. Osweiler, $15.2M, CLE
J. Pierre-Paul, $15M, NYG
R. Seymour, $13.1M, OAK

The Patriots smash the randomness right out of it.... They are what a good Coach...QB and Ownership will give you, if your lucky enough to have all those stars align at the same time.

I mean seriously... A bad year for a Patriots fan for over a decade, has been losing the Super Bowl.

A really bad year is getting punted from the playoffs in the early rounds.

A 20ish year old Patriot fan is probably on suicide watch if they don't make the wildcard.

Yeah cause the greatest QB of all time who just happens to sign team friendly contracts. Match him with the greatest coach of all time. There not "good" there arguably the greatest ever at both positions

Oh it's just that easy? Well damn why don't we just do that then.

Hey guys don't worry I fixed the cardinals we just need to draft the greatest QB of all time in the 6th round.
