Ot: I've Had It With These Pop Up Ads!

I understand websites are not free, but these pop up ads are borderline harassment.

Every new page it's the same pop up ad getting in the way and more than half the time it's forcing me to another page other than the posts I'm trying to read. I should be able to negotiate this site without the constant annoyance.

Instead if harassing us to pay extra for an ad free site, just get on with it and make this a private forum. Enough already.

I use Tapatalk (don't know how much that helps) in my phone, am rooted and use "MOAB", mother of all add blocking :-D. Works great for me. But, I don't use the computer much, mostly only my phone.

In Internet Explorer, find 'Tools' on your upper tool bar. Click and select 'Pop-Up Blocker.' Also, click on 'Safety' and select 'Delete Browsing History.' Some websites will leave a 'cookie' on your PC and when you visit a given site, you'll get the pop-up ads that they determine you might be interested in so check under 'Safety' and then 'Tracking Protection.'
I checked into hiking boots once and was forever getting pop-ups for the the latest boots regardless of website.

Easy fix change browser and turn blocker on.

I use Firefox with no extra plugins...just have popups turned off...works fine for me...I didn't even know this site had popups...LOL On my phone and iPad it's Tapatalk...Never an add issue with that.
