There's no consolation for losing Fitz dude. I still think he's an elite receiver. And I think the worst disservice Rod Graves did for this team was structuring his contract the way he did.

I've always tought that the NFL player that Strong reminds me the most of is Fitz. Just in playing ability, but Larry brings alot more than that.

I've advocated for trading him a few times because I just don't think it makes sense to pay that kind of money to any wide receiver. But if you're going to overpay any non-QB, Larry is the guy. No one could have represented themselves better than Fitz has. At this point, I really hope both sides find a reasonable dollar amount that will let him play out his career with the Cards.

I'd take him in a heartbeat

Me too as long as we didn't expect him to be the second coming of Fitz. And as long as we didn't use a 1st round pick on him because we surely have more pressing needs for that pick.

If Fitz exits I'm not so sure they wouldn't draft an impact WR late in the draft given how invisible Floyd has been for 8 games, especially if a talent like Strong was available

hes good but im against spending a first on any wide receiver. its a completely dependent position. then given the new rules now even average recievers will be better because its slated so much in there favor.

we should be looking at OLB, MLB and offensive line in the first 3 rounds of this draft.

I think he reminds me of Fitz or Brandon Marshall. Probably a little faster than Fitz, a little smaller than Marshall. Not sure if he has the blocking of either, but Graham called him the hardest working player he has ever been around.

Also, similar to Larry, he had a tremendous of highlight-reel catches in only two years of Division 1 football. Strong played entirely against bracket coverage his two years at ASU, would be interesting to see him in man-to-man coverage.

I think people are really forgetting what Fitzgerald was in college. He's probably one of the 5 greatest college receivers of all time. Strong might be the 3rd best in this draft

Strong is definitely a poor man's Fitz. No way he equates. But, he will be a decent NFL player in the right offense.

I would gladly take Strong in the first round if Fitz gets released. Kevin White from WVU is also a stud.

When Strong didn't make the end of the game catch against Arizona, he dropped down a couple of rounds in my opinion. Of course a 4.5, or better, forty, would possibly move him back up.

White will go way before Strong because he is far better. White is the true comparison to Fitz, not Strong.
I see Strong going in the second round - maybe even the third. White should be a mid-late first rounder...

He dropped a couple rounds because of one play? Can't tell if joking...

That Nick Wilson kid on UofA looks promising. He had 178 yesterday, and over 200 in the last game on only 20 carries. Jalen who?

I see some Anquan Boldin in Jaelen Strong. He would look good in a Cardinals uniform.

Isn't Wilson a RB. Besides the Cardinals could use both.
