Don't know how much run this story has been getting, but Peter King had a really interesting anecdote on his SI Podcast this week.

Fantasy football players problably know that WR David Givens and CB Janoris Jenkins were healthy inactives last week for the tie against San Francisco. What you might not know is that they were required to head over to Candlestick Park on the first bus.

As the doors were opening at the stadium and fans were beginning to file in to their seats, they might have seen these rookies running stadium steps, because Jeff Fisher decided that he'd put two of his most explosive playmakers to work understanding that the rules of the St. Louis Rams applied to everyone.

Stadium steps!

He should run steps himself after how the game went.

 They nearly won on the road against the team that will likely run away with the NFC West. They didn't lose. It's not really a moral victory--there aren't any in the NFL--but if it sends a message to these two young guys for the next three or four years with the team, that's worth a half-win in a season where they're not really competitive.

If the errors Fisher made during the game are Rams Way, I am glad.

Whereas Whiz would just send them to his doghouse and there they would be forgotten for a month or more.

Chris Givens, not David....and he is a serious head case. He's a nice guy when he is on his Meds...problem is, he doesnt like taking them
