I am destined to be in Fountain Hills for Thanksgiving - does anyone know if there is anywhere to watch the game.. besides the casino.

I have already called The Overtime and The Alamo and both are closed... any help is appreciated and could save my sanity from playing Wii instead!

I used to live in Ftn Hills. That town DIES during the holidays. Your best bet is somewhere in Scottsdale.

Here are your remaining choices, I've watched games at all of them:

I understand it is going to be on local... problem is... I forgot to mention that the TVs are being hijacked by Wii -

Thanks for the locations.

I used to live in FH. The Taphouse used to have the best burgers I ever had. It has changed ownership since I left, so I can't speak for the food, but there are tons of TVs and a staff that will accomodate you if you want it on a certain screen. Try to get it up on the projection screen, if you can.

I spent many nights there when I first moved to town. Great place. Don't know if it is open on Thanksgiving, but it would be my first choice if they were open.

Fireside Grill is pretty good too.

I have friends in Fountain Hills, never been in Two step saloon (used to order food way back when it was Poma's which had a great roast beef sub with about a pound of beef), but have driven past it a hundred times.

Don't know if it's open today, but it appears to have a lot of TV's, probably hi-def. Looks like the really put money into the place, as it's had a complete remodeling makeover from it's change from Poma's. (like all the wood which wasn't there b4)

Wouldn't be surprised if it's the best ambiance/collection of TV's at a FH bar.

Don't bother with over the air reception in the FH, unless you got a custom built antenna. (You're behind a mountain, and then will be behind some hills or at the bottom of one). Remember basically FH is on the backside of a mountain facing away from South mountain and 30 or so miles away
