LOS ANGELES (KGO) -- There is new information, and a new video, about the brutal attack on a San Francisco Giants fan in Los Angeles.

For the first time, video from another fan at the opening day game shows Giants fan Bryan Stow inside the ball park. The video, which was obtained by the website TMZ, shows Stow engaging in a verbal argument with a fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

For the first time, video from another fan at the opening day game shows Giants fan Bryan Stow inside the ball park. The video, which was obtained by the website TMZ, shows Stow engaging in a verbal argument with a fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

It's hard to say but apparently the person that shot the video says Stow was basically telling the guy to calm down and "respect the game" and the guy was cursing at him in Spanish in a threatening manner.

If nothing else they're hoping they can figure out if the prime suspect can be seen on the video because he's insisting he wasn't even at the game.

It's a fuzzy cell phone video and hard to tell who is who. They played it last night on the news.

Im sure forensic computer nerds can clean it up.

The big deal here is the defense is alleging that the suspect in custody had a short head of hair at the time of the attack and wasn't bald, which is what the police sketch suggests. The video seems to show the antagonist with a small head of hair.

Yeah apparently the claim is that the police think he added tattoos after the beating so that the description from witnesses wouldn't match his actual appearance.

So if they think that, they probably also think he's lying about his hair.

It's a tough situation if the guy is guilty it's really obscene that he not only did that ,but he's using his 9 year old daughter to lie for him.

But if he's innocent the guy has been absolutely destroyed in the court of public opinion.

He still got tagged on a parole violation for having a gun (which he hid in some laundry).

Not sure how much sympathy he would deserve if he wasnt assailant #1. His attorney is on the local news everyday pleading his case. Can't fault them on their efforts to put a nice spin on the situation.

Here is my problem: what's the status of the investigation on assailant #2 and the female getaway driver? Seems as if this has come to a steady crawl. Finding either one (or both) would help piece the puzzle together.

The Stow family deserves to have closure on this situation. He is recovering but will never be the same.

FYI paper today says they arrested 2 new suspects and that it's possible the original suspect will be exonerated shortly. His defense team says they unearthed a "golden nugget" that proves his evidence. Thought to be more cell phone records or something that proves he wasn't at Dodgers Stadium.

Witness in Stow beating dies unexpectedly

A key witness in the beating case of San Francisco Giants fan Bryan Stow died of an apparent allergic food reaction, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times.

Matthew Lee, who was termed an important witness by a source, died suddenly after eating a salad that contained nuts, which caused an allergic reaction. The coroner reportedly has not determined a cause of death.

Officials reportedly have additional evidence in addition to the eyewitness account Lee was to have provided.
