Most points in a triple double since the ABA/NBA Merger. It is just so scary to think about how big the guy is. Its basically Julius Peppers flying around the court with PG speed. I always wonder where an NFL team would play him if he played football.

It's funny, because there were a bunch of quotes from him this morning about how he didn't care about Bryant's 61 in MSG the night before, and it wasn't a personal competition, and he wasn't going to try to do anything special, just get the win. Yeah right. He's the most shameless self-promoter in professional sports since Muhammed Ali.

Like most superstar athletes, LeBron will never admit to openly competing with another athlete, especially one of the caliber of Kobe Bryant. He got trash-talked by Deshaun (sp?) stevenson for a couple years and never openly said he would go at him harder, but he certainly put the guy in his place. Such is the way of professional sports.

Also, the cavaliers needed all LeBron had tonight. Al Harrington was really hot and it was a close game.

props to LeBron..

but lets be honest, being it against the Knicks under D'Antoni... kinda taints it.. slightly..

against the defensive, physical team... would of been more special.

Seriously... I think I will have an open look or lane to the basket.. if I was put on the court... and that goes for a lot of us here... with D'Antoni's defensive scheme...

When you compare the numbers, they look very similar. Here are Wilkins Atlanta numbers and LeBrons so far.

.........TO STL FG FT RB AST PTS
LeBron 3.29 1.79 47% 73% 7.00 6.60 27.50
Nique. 2.50 1.60 47% 81% 7.50 3.10 27.20

Lebron 6-8 250 Pounds
Nique 6-8 230 Pounds

Except for the fact that at Lebrons age now, Wilkins was in his 2nd season and only putting up 21/7/2. Not to mention Lebron is a playmaker for his teammates and has almost played in as many playoff games as Wilkins did in 15 seasons.

Wilkins in his prime does not compare to Lebron in the past 4-5 years.

Sorry everyone. Being a Bulls fan, I am just jealous. I think LeBron is Top 10 all time at this point.

No particular order, just somewhere in the top 10. If I had to make a list though.

1. MJ
2. Magic
3. Bill Russell
4. Bird
5. Wilt
6. Kobe
7. Shaq
8. Kareem
9. LeBron
10. Dr. J
11. Jerry West
12. Oscar Robertson

Lebron over Hakeem Olajuwon or Charles Barkley/Malone ALREADY???
David Robinson too?

these guys have had 10+ years of dominant seasons..

LeBron has been special, averaging 27/6/7

Iverson averaged 31 points and 8 assists a couple of times in his career also... you dont see him being in the top 20,....

so why LeBron?? who has only been in the league 5 seasons...

youngins...

LeBron was dominate from day 1. He averaged 20 PPG as a rookie teenager. Now, with a real team around him, his scoring is not suffering.
