Chargers moved the ball fairly easily on the Steelers D during their first drive. Gates gets his 100th TD of his career.

PS: Vick looks horrible when hurried, doesn't have the legs he once had. Although just as I was typing this, he completes a quick slant to A Brown and then catch and run for +50 yds. Hopefully P2 can stay with him next week. He's the quick shifty type of receiver that he's historically had trouble with.

Melvin Gordon reminds me of Trent Richardson part deux. <cringe>

Except Gordon wasn't a top 5 pick so the expectations for him aren't even close to being as high as it was for Richardson. Oh and its only his 5th game...

I wasn't a fan of Gordon because the system Wisconsin runs makes all their backs look good. However, I don't see the Richardson comparison.

The Steelers D looked terrible on the first SD drive but have settled down. They have a pretty stout D line. Rivers constantly facing pressure but he has such a quick release... This will be an interesting test for our O line next week.

The Chargers JV O line is keeping the Steelers in the game, penalties on the backups every series.

After watching the Steeler offense so far, I wonder if this has become a little less of a long shot.

Ben Roethlisberger wants to play Sun vs. former OC Bruce Arians. Steelers have not ruled out possibility, but it's considered a “longshot."

Good. The last time Big Ben rushed to get on the field after an injury, his team scored 3 points.

Bell is so patient behind that O line... waits for the creases to open then kicks it in second gear... So freakin shifty! You can make the argument CJ is doing the same...

I remember wanting the Cards to draft Melvin Ingram. He looks great this year.

What struck me is Michael vick's lack of arm. He had a gun when he came in. On the hail mary he stepped up into the throw from the 50 and it was picked just in front of the goalline. The ball hung short less than 50 yards in the air with him stepping into.

The old Vick would snap his wrist and throw the ball 60 yards.

Brown fielding punts scares me. Palmer and the boys better keep Butler and our sad coverage off the field.

Don't worry. Butler cant possibly out kick the coverage team

Maybe if we are lucky the game will go into a 10-10 overtime to really wear down the Steelers a little more on a short week.

Vick is off target tonight. You just know that next week he will much more accurate since it's us.

He's always inaccurate! When you're a 56% career passer you're not anything special.

1) Stop Bell-top priority

2) Keep Brown from beating you deep-Vick does throw a great deep ball

3) win the TO battle

Those are the recipes for winning a tough game in Stealtown.

We need Daryl Washington back to kick Mike Vick's butt for the 4289422489 time

We should be able to win the turnover battle this week as long as Big Ben isn't playing.

Vick has had some pretty poor throws tonight. And it's not like he was ever known to be a QB that was going to kill you with the pass. He was always running threat that kept defenses honest but not so much anymore .
