I know this is way off topic for the Cards board but I thought someone might be able to help us out.

We are getting ready to move back to NYC in May. We have 3 dogs and we have a situation already set up for two of them but we need to place the third.

Her name is Chelsea and she is a Shepard/Akita mix. She is 80 lbs. and 4.5 years old. She is an absolute love dog and we want to find the right home for her. Obviously, due to her size - and the size apartment we are going to in NY - we cannot take her with us.

She is a very loving, energetic, and happy dog. She is great with kids and other dogs. The only issue with her is that she is a fence jumper (6ft or lower). The home we are renting here in Tempe has an 8 ft. fence so that has never been an issue at this home. But when she lived in Tucson with my girlfriend she used to leap the 6 footer and tool around the neighborhood.

If anyone, or if you know of anyone, would be interested please PM so we can discuss this further and set up a meet and greet.

Thanks all.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled Cardinals talk

BTW - I will upload a picture of her tonight on this thread

why you moving back to NYC?

So all that you accomplished was just taking all of your furniture for a cross country ride? :)

Did you even unpack yet? If not that would be cool.

Funny thing is some of the stuff we brought with us is still in boxes in the garage.

We got to enjoy an Arizona winter and avoid an AZ summer so how bad can that be? :)

We're going back for a number of reasons on a number of levels - not the least of which - we really, really miss NYC. Arizona has not worked out for us as we thought so we're going back.

Frankly, I am really disappointed in the time we have spent here - despite the fact that I grew up in Phoenix. I guess the old adage is true that you can't go home again.

Where in Queens did you live? We lived in Park Slope, Brooklyn. We are most likely going back there or to Ft. Greene

Updated info regarding my dogs

The situation where we thought we could place 2 of the dogs has fallen through. So we need to find homes for all three dogs. Attached is a flyer that we have put together and we are in the process of placing about town.

If you - or anyone - can give good homes to these great dogs we would greatly appriciate it.

Brief descriptions:

Shima: 5 yrs old, spayed F, copper in color and a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. About 85 lbs. Very loving and great with kids and other animals.

Chelsea: 5 yrs old, spayed F, black and tan in color and is a Akita/Shepherd mx. About 80 lbs. Loving and high energy dog. Great kids and other animals.

Peri: 5 yrs old, spayed F, black, tan and brown in color. Aussie shepherd mix. Very intelligent and sweet. Lap dog. About 40 lbs.

Please PM with any questions etc. and I will be more than happy to e-mail pictures.

Drat, if I had a bigger yard. I already have six, but since we walk them in threes - going up one or going up three doesn't make much difference. Alas, our small house and yard is maxed out - plus they may eat our cats :)

Good luck placing them - I have two cats from a friends move to Virginia from Phoenix.

We may have found a home for one of the dogs - Peri. We will know on Sunday night for certain. We still need help for the other two. Does anyone know of anyone who would love some great dogs. All are beautiful, healthy, housebroken and spayed.

Please let me know
