Yup. I went to college in Edinboro. We got even more snow than Erie. The winter I started there was the year they got 250 inches of snow.

Small world. My son went to Edinboro for a couple of wrestling camps. He thought about attending there and wrestle. Go Fightin Scots!

I see both sides. Players should play in the conditions given, although there has to be a limit.

But what they are predicting is too dangerous for fans to travel in. Like Arizona you have people driving 3-4 hours to get to games. That's just too dangerous. People would certainly get hurt.

You're right. A quarter of the BILLS season ticket holders are from southern Ontario, Canada.

Buffalo has an average of 85 inches of snow annually, twice that of Toronto to its north.

4 inches is not a dusting. Shoveling even 4 inches of snow can be backbreaking work.

Can you tell it snowed this week and my back really hurts?
No, I was referring to people critizing the move live in areas that freak out over a dusting, let alone 4".

I lived in Nashville. A dusting shut down the city. My ex got stuck on the freeway, ran out of gas. Took my 4 hours in my truck to go 10 miles to rescue him.

Photo is courtesy of John Kucko - but shows a bit of what we're talking about.

Behind that sign is the bills stadium. You'll also notice the top of the fire hydrant peeking out.

I've also attached a Google street image from that same view.

I remember going to the Carolina playoff game where it had just snowed the day earlier. I could have sworn I had frostbite on my feet even though I had two pairs of socks, boots, and hand warmers on them.

To put it in perspective the expectation is for as much as 6 feet of snow. We have multiple players on our offense who are sub 6 feet.

So the better question is if it’s as bad as predicted how are the Bills actually traveling to Detroit. Since wee told this type of snow shuts the whole city down IE roads and airports too? How is it safe for them to travel?

The expected snowfall started last night. I assume that the NFL made that change so early so that they could travel. I am sure the Bills are already there.

They said on the radio last night that they hadn’t left yet and would figure it out

Well that's stupid. LOL
Literally moronic they just said on the radio again that the head coach said they’re doing all meetings and practices virtually and they’re hoping to get out Saturday night???? Isn’t that supposed to be smack in the middle of the storm the whole reason they can’t play on Sunday??

OK. Flagstaff's annual snowfall average total is just over 90 inches, I think. My first year in Flagstaff, snow fall was over 150 inches. My wife almost made us move back to Casa Grande.

The last several years, the snowfall has really fallen off, though. Not anything near what Buffalo is getting now.

meh, it’s ok. we are all going to make mistakes. I will not admit to understand what it’s like to live in Arizona, so I will not expect them to understand what it is like to live in upstate New York.
When i was in the navy i dated a girl in Saugerties.
It snowed up there and my buddy and i payed for our weekend trip 3 times over using his jeep to pull people out of ditches.
Beautiful like a postcard up there.
