That is because he has been playing small ball. He won't win you a game if you need it. He will just try to not lose it for you. That's the problem.

OL sucks. WRs weak. RBs ...meh. Not much to coordinate with. Bridgewater ain't coming back and he was nothing more than a game manager. They gave away draft choices for Bradford. Brady would have a hard time winning with that cast. Spielman should retire.

Not Quite. Bob Ferguson was our GM though 2002. I think the Wikipedia bio on RG is incorrect.

This also puts light on how desperate Minnesota was when Bridgewater went down. He's going to be out not only this season but probably next season as well then you have to hope he can come back after missing 2 seasons. They mortgaged their future for Bradford. Huge gamble for them.

Perhaps we are seeing why Zimmer wasn't made a coach for so long. Or maybe Norv just knows how little he has to work with in MN right now and doesn't want to continue to tarnish his reputation working with garbage. I hope MN can still pull off winning that division.
