While the White Sox get owned in trades. Billy Beane can't help ripping Kenny Williams off. Gonzales was actually considered a strong candidate for #5 starter. Ryan Sweeney will play one of the corner spots for A's.

Williams is actually trying to build a 5th place team into a one year contender. Might as well, since he is clueless in building a farm system.

I don't know. I know that Oakland has to do this, but, still not a great trade for Oakland.

I am concerned about giving up those two pitchers, but Sweeney is not quite the prospect he was thought to be a few years ago.

Their pitching staff is iffy, but I don't mind the trade so much. Heck, the Phillies gave up Gio for Freddy Garcia. He can't be that good.

It still amazes me Kenny Williams is a major league Gm, I remember watching him play football at Mount Pleasant HS and then at Stanford(WR).

I liked Nick Swisher a lot, despite his 2nd half fading. He looked like he was having fun out there.
