Dunno. The Raiders are one of the most cash-poor organizations in the NFL. Mark Davis may still be paying off Jon Gruden and his staff.
I wouldn't doubt for a moment, though, that Davis is getting kickbacks from casinos, based on the amount of new visitors that come to Vegas to see their team play the Raiders. I've been in Vegas probably 5 times since that stadium opened and the amount of visitors is amazing...and most that I've talked to were making their 1st ever trip to Vegas.

Apparently, defenses knew what plays were coming because they had McDaniels pegged.

The Raiders are paying over $80 million dollars to two fired head coaches, GM, offensive coordinator, and they just benched their $11.25 million/year QB. This is a Las Vegas robbery worthy of Danny Ocean!

This isn't true at all anymore. The Raiders are flush with cash now. They probably are nearly tops in the league in actual revenue.

Well, they have the highest ticket prices in the league. I know that that’s on top of the ridiculous PSL‘s they collected.

And they lead the league in ticket sales.

They also make a ton of money on concerts and other events. It's just not true that the Raiders are cash poor.

I don't know what you think this proves. This is not unusual rich-people stuff.

The cash flow requirements for operating an NFL franchise are like an order of magnitude or more greater. For most other NFL organizations, these numbers are a rounding error.
I designed Ascaya’s clubhouse. True story. And the original house that was supposed to go on Davis’ lot, which was way cooler than the Bond villain thing he’s building now.

You are not cash poor when you are the ninth most profitable franchise in the NFL in 2022. $160 million in 2022. If you don't understand that then I don't know what to tell you.

There’s not an NFL owner that is cash poor.
Somehow that’s become a narrative of why teams, like the Cardinals, are horribly run.

Raiders are 100% a team that hopes the Cardinals land #1 pick in the draft and want to trade back.

And then my pipe dream can come true and we can get them to trade us Maxx Crosby as part of the deal.

When I was ranting on him the other day I nearly said if they wind up firing McDaniel I wonder if that might cause him to ask for a trade. Too late now of course but after the season one has to wonder if he wants to go through yet another rebuild there. Would probably want to play for a contender but I think the odds of him getting moved in the offseason went up exponentially with them cleaning house as he may just say I want out.
