#Rams Les Snead gave Tavon Austin 4/$42M contract extension with the Rams in 2016, $28.5 million in total guarantees.

Nope, it was at full attention....blue steel. Mitch got more right than wrong but he missed on Tavon.

Cowboys OC Scott Linehan's vision for newly acquired Tavon Austin is in the Lance Dunbar mode as a specialty back who can be deployed to help create favorable match-ups and, hopefully, explosive plays.

Tavon should get a career achievement trophy for scoring 10 TD's in a Jeff Fisher offense a few years ago.

He wasn't healthy in camp(wrist injury) and never got up to speed in McVay's new offense last year. Add to that the Rams were stacked with Watkins, Woods and Kupp in front of him.

So essentially, he's never played in a real NFL offense.
Linny in Dallas will get him going. I've always said he's more effective when used as a #2 RB rather than a WR.

Dallas has already stated he'll be the scat back.

Listening to the #Cowboys Day 3 press conference. They call Tavon Austin a "web back" and want to get him the ball "a dozen to two dozen" times per game, plus return game on top of that.

12 to 24 times. Per. Game.

I had to listen 3 times to make sure I heard that correctly.
