That's just stupid hot. Good excuse to stay indoors & hope the A/C doesn't crap out!

This.

But if CNN shows up to interview the populace be sure to wear your Cardinals gear. "Well, Anderson, they are dropping like flies but we have a gentlemen in a #11 jersey who has agreed to an interview before the heat stroke hits." Followed by, "And here's a shot of the brave paramedics who could be inside having a soda."

I live in Bullhead City, Arizona and even though we are used to hot temps we had a real high Friday, Saturday and today is supposed to high also.

I know Phoenix and Las Vegas are really hot now

IIRC, didn't Bullhead City move their official thermometer to make it look like it is not as hot as it is so they wouldn't always show up on the national news as the nations hottest?

I know Phoenix and Las Vegas are really hot now, but check out our local temps the last few days.

Here is a link from our local newspaper.

That is so awesome. I'd take that over 0 with 10 below wind chills anytime.

This is true. They moved up on a hill by my house where it is 3-4 cooler.

Laughlin is a big vacation town across the river and they don't like to scare the tourists away. So the highest we usually see from the weather report is 118. So for them to show 123 it was really hot.

But those who live here know what it really is. I have been here so long that I can tolerate the summers pretty well.

123 degrees and 10% humidity beats 85 degrees and 70% humidity any day of the week. A few years ago I went to PA in June and it was BAD.

No way.

I lived in Florida for 6 months and this is much worse. 105 and dry is fine. 120 and dry is just...awful.

That suxx Bullhead...especially when you consider the hottest time of the year...is just approaching.......

I moved to Louisiana a few years back....been 97 degrees with about 90% humidity...life sucking ****ing hot!!...but at least being in the shade, or having a light breeze, makes this somewhat comfortable....that damned Arizona wind is like a blast furnace cooking you as bad as the sun...
