OT reports that Jimmy G has fractured/torn thumb

Apparently hurt it in the Titans game. Report is it's a UCL injury, torn Ulnar Collateral Ligament AND a fracture. he was able to play with it last game but they're apparently uncertain he will be able to play with it going forward. It's the thumb on his throwing hand. Hurt it in the 2nd quarter contributed to his 2 picks and other bad throws in the 2nd half.

So they may have to play Lance the last 2 games

They were the problem is unless Lance is much better now than he was when he last played, their key weapons on offense, Deebo and Kittle, are going to be far less threatening because of QB play.

Makes it much harder for them to get in although they're the 6th seed right now.
