Anyone else interested in the possibility of landing an MLS team for the summer?

Maybe hosting a couple of World Cup Qualifiers in our new digs?

Multiple Listing Service team? I didn't know real estate agents played soccer. Thought their kids did.

If we are hosting World Cup Qualifiers...I want it to be cricket. I was watching cricket the other night on Fox Sports World. Interesting game except I don't understand any of it.

To answer your question, I have no problem with that. I don't care for soccer personally but I know this is a big soccer area and given the large Hispanic population, it would likely be a huge hit.

Anything to use the facility as much as possible.

What about cricket. Seriously, I was watching it and it kind of hooked me a bit although I cannot understand it.

Marginly better, particulary if played on the village green outside a pub :), in a ral atdium, no same level of interest as Soccer.

Cricket is not that hard to understand, Baseball is a derivative of cricket.

A few years ago during a snow-in 4 day binge in DC, we watched a Cricket match for 2 1/2 days...it was nuts....(actually, we were drinking and playing Play Station and every hour or so we'd check out ESPN World & the damn game was still on.....)

It may not be hard to understand but when you know NONE of the rules, it is exceedingly difficult to follow what is happening. I know it is good for the pitcher (?) to knock over those wickets (?) and the batsmen do the same as batters in baseball...except they are in the middle of the field and so there is no foul ball. There is some wierd circle around the field which if it is hit passed it it is a dead ball (?) and then there is a fence where that must be like a homerun.

Anyway, I found in interesting.
