TJ Watt hurt his knee, Diontae Johnson hurt his shoulder today.
Teammates watch out for each other in practice. They should just not even practice. Because everyone knows the more you hone your craft the worse you get.
Exactly. Those 3rd string fringe guys are going as hard as they can to get a roster spot. Comparing it to a team practice is absolutely ludicrous. Tomlin did say Watt and Johnson are fine, but when your starters are giving 50% effort vs guys fighting for their jobs... that's when injuries happen. Not worth it.Teammates watch out for each other in practice.
Random scrubs, desperate to make a team don't care about diving through the opposing star player's knee.
Honestly, you didn’t even need to explain it.Teammates watch out for each other in practice.

Can he dunk? That Mike Tomlin sure doesn’t know what he’s doing
I don’t like the preseason but that being said, maybe the starters should be giving the same effort as those other guys. I alway say, “practice how you play”. If you go half ass in practice, it tends to bleed over to the real thing.Exactly. Those 3rd string fringe guys are going as hard as they can to get a roster spot. "Whether 'tis nobler in the preseason to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous injury..."As Shakespeare used to say, "To play or not to play, that is the question".
