Thoughts? Should the cardinals put in a waiver claim?
Jaguar in 3...2...1....
he was drafted this yr as wellWhy would a dude be released near mid-season?
Because he was good? (Because he was even average)?
Are the Texans that good that the guy was considered expendable?
Unless there are really extenuating circumstances, I'd be inclined to pass.
Easy. You just pass. How could you pass?!?! Is he better than the ghost of John Abraham...
You mean the same Abraham who has 2 sacks this season, that were against a rookie RT last week?Easy. You just pass.
BTW - some of us don't share your low opinion of Abraham. Also - they evidently felt good enough about the OLB position to make Moch an inactive last Thursday.
jacksonville has lots of pooper scoopersMontgomery must have some major issues to be dropped like a dogturd in Midseason.
Good point!Wow wonder what the deal is. If your the cardinals you have to try and bring him in especially with your LSU connections maybe he needs someone to take him under his wing perfect role for Abraham and Peterson
The Texans waived defensive end Sam Montgomery, linebacker Willie Jefferson, and running back Cierre Wood on Monday. John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports that the three players violated team rules at the squad's hotel in Kansas City.
Wow, wouldn't want anyone like that on your team.http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...fter-reportedly-violating-team-rules-at-hotel
Smoking cigars? Are you kidding me. Not blunts but just regular cigars.
Kid has talent no doubt maybe just needs some direction.

I think its an attempt by the Texans to establish some order. There season has been a huge disappointment overall.
Ironically the time to do that may have been when one of their defensive stars got himself suspended for PED's a couple of years back but they welcomed him back with open arms.
Amazing how team rules don't apply to the good players.
The team clearly thought the cigar smoke was covering another smell.
Yes, a smokescreen of sorts.
