This incident has been getting a lot of coverage for a few days. Apparently, the latest release today says the guy who got knocked out had a brain bleed and is looking at permanent brain injury and/or paralysis. Sad story no matter what the cause. Of course the two thugs who stated the fight have a long criminal history. Shocker. Typical 9er fans

That's ridiculous, it was before the game too which suggests to me the 2 thug morons were drunk from tailgating.

The story said the guy just tapped one of them on the shoulder to let him know the urinal was free, the guy said he didn't like being "pushed" so he attacked the guy and might have paralyzed him.

Given what happened to the Giants fan Brian Stow just a few years ago pretty disgusting that 49er fans would do something like this.

Curious how he ended up, Brian Stow? Need to look him up.

These thugs should be put away for long time. Not their first offense and the guy(s) they beat up will never be the same. Over what?? Trash talking? I must say when I was at the Cards/Broncos game, not 1 person said anything derogatory to me. I was even wearing Cards gear and got up and cheered when a positive play happened for us. Still, not 1 word from any fan towards me. I was not obnoxious or talk trash either, so that could have helped too. But the problem is, I see this nonsense go on here in our stadium with Cards fans too.

He's improved but he's still pretty bad off. He won his case against the Dodgers for negligence but the award is about 1/3 what they estimate his lifetime care to cost(18 of 50 million). His insurance company stopped paying saying he'd exceeded his policy, so he had to move in with his parents who live in Capitola.

I see him on tv now and then doing some public speaking seems to have a great attitude.

This kind of stuff is nuts, several years ago I posted on another board about an incident that happened wtih someone I went to HS with. He was involved in a road rage incident where he was on a motorcycle and a moron in a truck followed him into a parking lot and intentionally rammed him flipping him off his bike. he's paralyzed from the waist down. The guy who hit him is in jail, his family has been lobbying for years on radio and tv "the guy got what he deserved, you flip someone off you might get retaliation."

The guy who got hurt is in one of my 2 fantasy leagues, he's adjusted fairly well now but obviously it had a massive impact on his life.

People just snap some times and have no clue about consequences, although in both that case and this one the people who snapped had long records of doing violent acts before.

as of course did the 2 guys in the Stow incident.

I would give majpr props to the niners if they publicly came out and said something like "we are excercising our right to refuse service to these two men. If we see them at the stadium they will be removed. We do not need or want them as fans and ask they they not wear our merchendise or root for our team"
I think it would help send a message.

The Lions banned the idiot who was using the laser pointer. The dope even went on to Twitter to brag about it.
