i post on IGN a lot.

http://boards.ign.com/football/b5105/p1

pretty active board, especiallly during the season. they need more cards fans over there though. i also post on their baseball and basketball board, not to mention they have a board for just about every other category you could ever imagine. almost 2 million users registered there. mods can be strict at times though.

if you post there, under what name?

any other boards you guys reccomend?

Huh.

I actually don't post on any other boards.

Did a Mazda one when I had a technical question, but I'm a solo flyer and ASFN is where I soar.

Well, I read it a bit. Why do you spell your name with a K here and a C there?

And there was the whole "no one is a Cardinal fan but you."

Lakersground. (during bball season)

DVD Talk (rarely)

My board (unpublic at the moment)

Ron Paul Forums (rarely)

AZcards board (during football season)

Southendzonerdude's board (rarely)

IMDB boards (rarely)

first started posting on the Internet on JimRome's Jungle Smack Shack board (now defunct). I was a major league ***** there...NEZ would have adored me...all smack, all the time. I've toned it down a TON here, though from time to time I throwback post like I did then (and usually get banned if I do).

Example: http://www.arizonasportsfans.com/vb/f23/this-is-gonna-be-ugly-79502.html

Post number 6...that was D-Dogg lite compared to the JR boards.

ASFN is about 95% of my posts...for example, I have about 1K posts on LG. Used to post on LakersTalk.com a lot more than LG, but they closed it down...it was much more like ASFN...more smart posters than LG had, but it died suddenly and surprisingly...it was far superior.

Used to post on the Cardinals Official Forums a lot, but I got sick of 200 "Who should be our QB?" threads, so now I pretty much just post here.

My main two message boards are this one, and Chris Creamer's Sports Logos Community. Those two are always up for me.

I also occasionally lurk/post on the following:

  • Official Cardinals board (rarely anymore)
  • Indianapolis Star forums - Indiana Pacers board
  • IMDb
  • Uni Watch
  • Helmet Project
  • DC Comics message board (usually just the Aquaman board. Really.)
  • Fans of Reality TV (American Idol)
  • KryptonSite (Smallville)
  • RiffTrax forums
  • The Trombone Forum
  • Experts Exchange (programming/tech forum)
  • ...many other technical forums.

I also post on ASFN. Maybe you've heard of it, there's this one guy named Shane on there, that rides a moped.

First. Name Change? What motivated it?

Second. Aquaman?

I have been contemplating a name change for quite a while now; Pantone, Inc. (the company that provides color standards) apparently can be Copyright Nazis when it comes to their trademarks. A couple of people (Paul Lukas from Uni Watch for one) have always warned me that they might eventually ask me to stop using "PANTONE" as a handle...they really don't like that sort of thing. Not sure why, but there it is.

"Ethx" is the name of the company that my wife and I own - and we own the trademark for it. However, I changed my handle on Chris Creamer's board from "PANTONE" to "ColorWerx" - that is the name of a color matching service that I'm working on as a service for graphic designers to match spot colors to textiles, threads, twill, etc. I probably should have changed my handle on this board to "ColorWerx" as well. Oh well. Maybe I will later on...

As far as Aquaman goes - I've been a fan since the late '60s, and even though I don't collect comics anymore (I'm currently in the process of selling my collection of over 4,500), I still follow the character. And, that character is a mess right now. In limbo.

Huh. This is kind of weird. I post at IGN a lot. I'm actually a Mod. (Hopefully not one of the overly strict ones.) My name there is Solar7.

Besides that, I don't really frequent any other message boards.

I like this site a lot even though I rarely post. Being in Oklahoma, I post on Jimtraber.com a lot under the name POISON. It's mostly a Ok. State vs. OU flamefest, what the heck. He used to be a Diamondbacks color man and former OK. State baseball and football player.

This is pretty much it for me. I used to post a lot in USENET, mostly in the fantasy football and bass guitar forums. People aren't using the newsgroups much any more.
