I'm convinced that the national media and others would talk trash even if the Cards won the Super Bowl this year. I'm trying not to let it get to me.

I love it when people get on the high horse and make comments like this.

Its a figure of speech. Just like "step on their throat", "going to war", and hundreds of other war and pain analogies we use in this sport.

Obviously I don't want McNabb dead. I do want the Cardinals to inflict as much bodily injury on him as possible. This is tackle football and not the powder puff kind. The point is to inflict punishment through legal means and by tackling.

When he makes comments like this it makes me want them to give him just a little extra when they bring him down.

I had a real snide comment to finish off this post but I erased it after thinking better of it.
