NORMAN — The OU women's gymnastics team is the No. 2 overall seed for the NCAA Championships, it was announced Monday.
The Sooners will be the top seed in the Seattle Regional with No. 7 Missouri, No. 10 Georgia, and No. 15 Auburn. Arizona, Arizona State, Illinois, Nebraska and UC Davis are also in the Sooners' regional.
The regional will be held April 3-6, with the Sooners beginning competition April 4.
The top 36 teams were seeded by national qualifying scores.

The top two teams at each site will advance to the NCAA Championships from April 17-19 in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Sooners, coming off a runner-up finish in last weekend's SEC Championships, are looking for their 21st consecutive NCAA Championships berth.
OU is 8-0 against teams in the Seattle regional, including a pair of wins over both Missouri and Georgia as well as three over Auburn and one over Nebraska.
