Plot Summary: A Bolivian presidential candidate failing badly in the polls enlists the firepower of an elite American management team, led by the deeply damaged but still brilliant strategist “Calamity” Jane Bodine (Bullock). In self-imposed retirement following a scandal that earned her nickname and rocked her to her core, Jane is coaxed back into the game for the chance to beat her professional nemesis, the loathsome Pat Candy (Thornton), now coaching the opposition.

But as Candy zeroes in on every vulnerability – both on and off the campaign trail – Jane is plunged into a personal crisis as intense as the one her team exploits nationally to boost their numbers. Dramatic, rapid-fire and laced with satire, “Our Brand is Crisis” reveals the cynical machinations and private battles of world-class political consultants for whom nothing is sacred and winning is all that matters.

Saw Sandy Bullock say she took this role because in Hollywood, you can't do the same thing over and over.

That is funny, coming from her, since she essentially plays the same character in every movie.

I've never thought that about her. When I think of her I think Speed(action), Miss Congeniality(comedy), Blindside(drama) and Gravity(drama)

Now yes two of those had sequels hey gotta make some money sometimes.

She's one of my favorites huge crush on her and I will be watching this lol

Yeah I've always had it bad for Sandy. It's all because of Demolition Man when I was like 13 lol.

this was pretty mediocre.

I just got back from seeing this with a friend, and that was our exact reaction. A few laugh out loud moments, a ton of cliches, and a tacked-on ending (we guessed it was added after audience testing) that was really, really racist. Those few laugh moments did really save it from being an awful movie, though.
