Former Giants defensive end and current NFL analyst Michael Strahan, who once was rumored to be in line for a talk show on FOX, reportedly is getting a sitcom instead.

According to Variety, Strahan’s show has the working title of Brothers, and it centers on a former NFL player who returns home to reconnect with his family — and, specifically, with his wheelchair-bound brother.

Strahan plays the wheelchair-bound brother.

Right.

Actually, Strahan will be the former NFL player, and Daryl “Chill” Mitchell plays Strahan’s wheelchair-bound brother.

We’re currently tracking down a rumor that Jay Glazer has been hired to play the family’s chihuahua.

I wonder how Jason Taylor feels about him stealing his spotlight? I'm sure he's not that worried considering the amount of FOX shows absolutely failing after a few episodes. I see this being no different.

I hear the plot of the 1st episode shows Strahan planting a gps tracking device into the car of his cheating girlfriend, who also happens to be the ex-wife of a very famous comedian.

I am thinking it will be on the level of those sitcoms that play on Saturday afternoons.

I can see a little California Dreams in this show.

all he has to do is act like michael strahan, and it will already be better than 1/2 the sitcoms currently on air. but i am not sure that is saying much.
