March Madness is here, bringing the excitement, unpredictability, and potential for stunning upsets that make the NCAA Tournament one of the biggest spectacles in sports. With 68 teams vying for a national championship, anything can happen—Cinderella runs, buzzer-beaters, and championship dreams realized or shattered.

Clemson enters the tournament as a No. 5 seed in the Midwest Region, facing No. 12 McNeese State on Thursday at 3:15 p.m. ET in Providence, Rhode Island. The Tigers (27-6) set program records for total wins, ACC victories (18), and road wins (9) this season. They reached the Elite Eight last year, proving they can make a deep run.

McNeese, riding an 11-game win streak, is a dangerous opponent. If Clemson advances, a potential matchup against No. 4 seed Purdue looms. Elsewhere, top seeds Houston, Auburn, Duke, and Florida aim to avoid early-round upsets.

March Madness never fails to deliver surprises, and this year’s tournament promises plenty. Can a lower seed go the distance? Will the favorites dominate? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain—every game will be must-watch basketball.

Here are our staff predictions for how March Madness will play out.
