I made some posts before how the new stadium didnt have that football excitement feel that I got at SDS....Well not anymore. Going to the games last year and losing to the Rams, Bears and Chiefs the way we did really gave me a weird feeling about the stadium. This year is different, VERY DIFFERENT The excitement is there, the fans have really stepped up, I would say 100% more than last year, We are undefeated in our house and I have a good feeling its going to stay that way for a long time. Now for me there is really no place like home at the Cardinals Stadium.

I'll take this as an admission that the Westside is better than the eastside..

This year I have goosebumps watching the games, And Im not drinking as much so I can remember the game, except yesterday. I got so wasted I just had to watch the game again to remember how it ended.

I was asked while leaving the game why I wasnt harrasing steeler fans.. Man, I was so in the moment like watching your child grow up or something.. I had a whole mess of Cards fans in front of me going after steeler fans, it was just like heaven.. I felt this weird euphoria around me.. From the times at SDS when we fought tooth and nail all day to yesterday when I didnt have to anything.. The kid is full grown now and can take care of himself..

gee, that's just about as good an analogy as i could imagine.

at the beginning of the game i wanted to rip the heads off the fans sitting in front and behind me with their terrible towels held above their heads on full display during our team introductions . . . the friggin' gall of those chumps to disrespect our team in our house. at the very least i wanted to snag the towel and throw it. but i refrained (mostly b/c i think my pops would have had a heart attack if he had to see me in ANOTHER fight - good jewish boys just don't do that type of thing).

in the middle of the game i was making snide "fathead" comments.

at the end of the game i was just overjoyed that we beat the crap - i mean PHYSICALLY BEAT THE CRAP - outta a top tiered team. i didn't even care about the steelers fans. i was just basking in the glow of our team coming of age.












. . . until i got to the airport and saw all the steelers fans. i couldn't conceal my laughter at the chumps that travelled to phx to watch their precious black and gold get emasculated . . . that was fantastic.

Defintely ranks as one of the top five wins since I've been going. Couldn't hold back, today though, had to give it to some Steeler fans who hackled me last week.

This is the second week in a row another teams fan has told me that AZ isnt a fun place for other teams fans. My buddy is a Raiders fan and was comparing the locos from the Westside to the Raiders fans in terms of not letting people come into our nest and talk smack. I think recently we rank up there for being loud but as far back as I can remember at SDS our crew ALWAYS made the other teams fans never want to come back.
